With this product, named after the famous post-war italian tenor, bemis carrara, you get not just one toilet seat, you get two for the price of one. I understand this is called a “bogof”. One of the seats is like a real seat, the other one has a hole in it, a little bit like a polo mint, but more of an oval. There is a hinge, so that you can choose which of the seats to use. Use the top seat (the one without the hole in it) if you just want to sit down comfortably, and use the one with the hole (oval shaped) in for going to the toilet. I got mixed up a couple of times when i first fitted the seats. The first time i fell throught the hole when i was trying to put my wellies on, and the second time i got pooh everywhere (i can tell you) .:0(it’s ok now though – i’ve worked it out.
